Career clarity: turning scattered experience into strengths

Young professionals rarely lack experience. They lack a language for it. Here is how to build one.

Most early-career professionals I coach do not have an experience problem. They have a translation problem.

They have run events, fixed spreadsheets, handled angry customers and shipped side projects — and they describe all of it as "various roles".

Start with evidence, not adjectives

List what you actually did, with numbers where you have them. Adjectives come later.

Group into capabilities

Cluster the evidence into three or four capabilities: operations, communication, analysis, building. Patterns appear fast.

Name the strength, then test it

Say the strength out loud in interviews and see which version lands. Iterate like a product.

Clarity is not something you find. It is something you assemble.
